Hi to everyone who found this site before me. I think this board is a great idea-I'm hoping to see a folder about rescue dogs soon! My name is Lin Robinson, and I am the Founder/Director of Small Breed Rescue and Adoption which I have been running for 18 years. I mostly take in small "aggressive" dogs-rehab and rehome them-with 100% success rate so far! I've taken in and placed well over 1,000 dogs who were slated for euth due to biting issues. I've always found that they have a good reason to bite from their past history. Anyways, I currently have 5 dogs plus 1 rescue (who may very well turn into a forever dog). Oh-WHO am I kidding lol He's home LOL So-here goes: Abby (Papillon), Tanner (Papillon), Clavelle (Chihuahua), Sadie (tiny mini lemon Beagle), Buddy (Papillon), and the new kid on the block Baily (Lhasa Apso). Not to forget that I rescued two cockatiels about 10 months ago. They were a long time bonded pair for 3 1/2 years but had never bred. The "MAN of the house" was tired of their constant singing and threated his wife that either they were out within 48 hours or he was going to set them free outside---the jerk--so they ended up here. I think for the first time in their lives they are truly comfortable and feeling safe because we've had two sets of eggs of which 2 of the first clutch and 2 of the second survived. So, now there's 6. I really need to rehome the small kids fast because I know there's another litter on the way. I really don't want anymore to contend with but I'm told that the only way to prevent babies is by separating them (DUH) which I can't as they'd die of lonliness. The only other thing is to take the eggs as soon as they are laid....geez....I just don't think I could bring myself to do that! Nice to meet everyone!
